Wonder Hour Workshop Details
Each Wonder Hour Workshop consists of four 50-60 minute classes on Zoom, spaced one week apart.
Workshops are capped at seven kiddos (ages 5-9), so register early!
Each week we explore a different theme:
The Sun & Stars
The Planets
The Moon
Earth our Home
Your child will gain basic astronomy knowledge, begin to comprehend the vastness and wonder of the Universe, learn the importance of caring for our only home - Earth, and begin to learn how to live each day with an "astronomical perspective.”
Wonder Hours include wondrous science learning, an exciting activity or experiment, creative time, stretching and movement to keep our brain juices flowing, and more.
With a bachelors in child psychology from Harvard and a graduate degree in astrophysics, fifteen years teaching experience and lots of "auntie time," I love nothing more than sharing the wonder and beauty of science and the Universe with others, especially children! Learn more about me here.
More Wonder Hour Details
Cost is $60 total for the month (four Wonder Hours) for first siblings, $15 total for the month for each additional sibling.
Additional siblings outside this age range are welcome to observe and participate on the side! To ensure that registered attendees receive my devoted attention, I will be engaging with (and unmuting mics for) just the attendees.
Activities require basic art supplies or other items *easily* found around the house.
Cancellation Policy: Once registered, you may cancel your Workshop order up to three days before the first Zoom (to allow for time to fill your spot).
